Laurea Lohja focuses on developing services and marketing

Laurea Lohja educates nurses, as well as experts in business administration (Bachelor and Master level). Students learn in inspiring and innovative, workplace-oriented development projects, and increase their competence in diverse learning contexts. Competence development focuses on the needs of the future employment market and on the customer-driven development of services.

Lohja's learning environment contains various development projects, which students can carry out for instance for their own businesses. Students can expand their horizons by carrying out work placements in Finland or abroad. The Terveystori (Health Marketplace) and Yrityslabra (Business Lab) learning environments support the development of workplace practices and competence; Terveystori is the health care service department of the unit, while Yrityslabra is a meeting place for students and local business.

The focal points for competence development in the Business Administration degree at Lohja are customer-driven service operations and marketing competence. Students can increase their competence by taking studies in management and leadership or information and communication. Lohja also offers studies in Nursing according to students' personal objectives, with advanced elements in adult care, mental health care, independent instruction and practice operations, and entrepreneurship.
