Laurea Porvoo develops services and entrepreneurship in welfare

Laurea Porvoo is a small but lively unit that trains nurses and public health nurses. Graduates are health care professionals who have specialised in areas such as welfare entrepreneurship or the development of welfare services. Diverse health care development projects and multiform teaching methods are in place to support learning, and Nordic collaboration exists through international student and expert exchanges.

Construction of the new Porvoo campus is well under way, and will be completed in the fall of 2010. It will offer an ultramodern studying environment, as well as easy opportunities for collaboration with business and tourism students from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in studies and leisure time alike.
