Laurea Tikkurila focuses on service and welfare competence, as well as on welfare entrepreneurship

The Laurea Tikkurila campus offers Bachelor's degrees in Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Social Services, and Beauty and Cosmetics, as well as Master's degrees in the health care field (Health Promotion, Regional Development and Management) and Social Services. It is also the only institution in Finland to offer a Bachelor's degree in Correctional Services.

The multidisciplinary development projects, widespread collaboration with employers, welfare business incubator and creative, functional innovative methods at the campus support learning and professional development. The unit profiles itself particularly in broad-based geriatric work and service instruction. Operations are based on close collaboration between students and business representatives.
